Hello and welcome!

My Ease into Yoga: A 6-Week Introductory Course will help you do all that and more!
Build a strong foundation in yoga, safely explore functional movement, improve mental clarity and reduce stress - no matter your size, fitness level, or experience.
Why Choose This Course?
Accessible to All
I believe that yoga should be accessible to anyone, no matter what their size or fitness level. We all have different bodies, so there cannot be one instruction or one way to do a pose. In my classes, you get personalised attention.
Strong Foundations
Building a practice on strong foundations is crucial for your longterm benefit and journey. I spend a lot of time making sure your yoga foundations are solid. As well as your deepening your understanding of the practice and I encourage awareness and curiosity.
Safety First
With over 10 years’ teaching experience, I have an extensive knowledge of anatomy and offer safe classes where you can be sure that you will find your limits with kindness and only try to go past them when it’s safe to. I also create a safe space, where you will feel comfortable and at ease.
Encourage Presence
I am deeply passionate about encouraging a way to practice yoga in a way that enables you to connect with your body. Becoming more present and by learning to be more mindful, your cognition will improve and you’ll reduce the effects of stress.
Flexibility through strength
I genuinely believe in building flexibility through strength. Flexibility is important for us to be able to move with ease, but the other important part of that is to get the body strong. So vital for us to have a strong body as we get older. This goes hand in hand with a strong mind. I will make sure that the practice is supports this.
Integrated Wellbeing
I see yoga as part of a broader, preventative lifestyle. By blending mindful movement, breathwork, and supportive habits, you’ll discover how to align body, mind, and spirit in everyday life, nurturing both immediate ease and long-term vitality.
My Philosophy
Mind
Poor sleep, stress, lack of exercise, alcohol and poor nutrition can all affect your cognition and ability to be clear and focused. Yoga and mindfulness helps to bring you back into the present moment. It teaches you how to pay attention to yourself - what you are feeling and what you are doing. This has a positive influence of the nervous system , regulating it into a more receptive, calm state which reduces the accumulation of stress on the mind and body.
Body
A healthy, strong body is important as our body is our vehicle that takes us through life and into our older years. Learning how to safely strengthen important muscles, improve flexibility and increased range of motion are vital for a healthy body. We need to keep our mobility in our joints in order to be able to carry out our daily activities and maintain a good quality of life. Strengthening our muscles, also strengthens our bones, improves circulation, digestion, sleep and reduces the impact of stress on the body and mind.
Relaxation
There is so much information you deal with everyday and so many distractions that take your mind away from the moment. You don’t always realise the impact of engaging in stressful content has on your mind and body. Yoga is that gift of time away from the outside noise and is a powerful way to learn how to relax, restore and nurture your mind and body. Recovering from the busy, daily grind.
Presence
Learning to be with yourself might sound silly, as you are “with” yourself everyday but our mind is often far away and not actually paying attention to what the body or emotions might be trying to communicate. Learning how to come into presence - with yourself, explore your limits, safely and recover a sense of freedom - helps you to respond to life’s challenges with more kindness, awareness and focus.

About Me
Hi! My name is Rahle
I am a Level 2-Iyengar yoga teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in New Zealand and South Africa. I have a deep interest in yoga philosophy and applying its wisdom to modern day living. I am also a total anatomy geek. I love learning about the body, how it works and how yoga helps with so many physical issues.
I am also deeply committed to a preventative lifestyle and actively make decisions and choices that guide me towards more natural options for health and wellbeing. I follow a mostly plant-based diet, don’t drink alcohol, prioritise physical movement and exercise. I also meditate, journal and am constantly learning how to support myself through life’s challenges by learning how to be emotionally resilient but also ask for help and support when I need it.
Yoga has been one of my most crucial pillars on my journey.
The physical, mental and emotional aspects and benefits I experience from my time on my mat have shaped who I am today and influenced so much of my life. I love sharing yoga and its gifts.
I would love you to join me on this 6-week course, and well maybe for a while after too. 🥰
