The love grows and takes root
My yoga journey
My journey with Iyengar yoga began in 2000. My practice and study of yoga have been my biggest comfort and guide in how I have navigated life's ups and downs. It’s been my teacher and healer through so many of my own physical issues and injuries. My yoga path has brought me so much growth and joy, it still does, and always will.
Inspired to share my deep love of yoga, I decided to take the leap and become a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. I’ve been teaching since 2014 and completed my Intermediate Junior 1 (now Level 2) certification in 2018, just before I moved to New Zealand.
Yoga is a subject I am deeply passionate about. Teaching allows me to share that passion as well as the knowledge I gain from my own practice, the study of philosophy and anatomy.

About my classes
What I love most about Iyengar Yoga is the accessibility and adaptability of the practice. As Iyengar teachers, we are trained to be able to teach anyone and any body type. Classes can be adapted to be for beginners and advanced practitioners. It can be dynamic and challenging or restorative - in fact anywhere in between. Being able to modify and adapt the poses, means the practice becomes accessible to every BODY - no matter young, older, bendy, stiffer, injured or weaker. It’s such a compassionate style of yoga that offers healing and growth and is a practice you can keep up your whole life.
I encourage curiosity and self-reflection in my classes. I sprinkle in joy as I feel it’s a vital aspect - to find joy on the mat and in life. It’s also very important to me that everyone feels welcome and comfortable in the class. Join me on this amazing journey - come discover yourself.
